Areas of Expertise & Research Interests

Credentialed with CPA, CFA, and PMP designations, Albert has accumulated more than 35 years of industry experience in financial planning, analysis, and policymaking. He was either a co-founder, CFO and VP Operations, or controller at several Silicon Valley start-ups funded by venture capital and corporate investment. His expertise includes building the entire organizational infrastructure, establishing overseas operations in China, and performing due diligence, and spearheading acquisition/spin-off of companies.

Albert earned a master’s degree in public policy from the University of Chicago and received both the undergraduate and graduate diplomas in corporate finance and portfolio management from Southern Illinois University. He was a private banker, served as a regional CFO in Southeast Asia, and employed as a management advisor in mergers, acquisitions, and corporate reorganizations. Prior to joining Lincoln University, he had worked at Outbid, TechLive, Wigix, IBM/Cyanea Systems, Wells Fargo, and Arthur Andersen.
