Lincoln University Title IX Sexual Misconduct, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence Prevention Policy is to keep the University community as a place of work and study free from sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is prohibited on campus and in all university programs. The University does not tolerate sexual harassment and will take immediate action against any university employees, officers, and students who violate this policy. The University is committed to protecting victims of sexual harassment and will not retaliate against individuals because they report sexual harassment or take part in the investigation of sexual harassment complaints. If the University learns that any employee or student has engaged in retaliation, that individual will be disciplined. The University, however, may take action against individuals who make intentionally false sexual harassment complaints. Sexual harassment is not only a violation of University policy but is also a violation of Title VII of the Federal Civil Rights Act and of California’s Fair Employment and Housing Act.
