Lincoln University seeks Assistant Professor of Business Administration.
Doctorate in Business Administration or a related field required.
Job duties:
Develop coursework, lectures, and student materials for assigned courses. Cooperate with faculty members and administration in creating quality teaching materials and up-to-date intellectual content
Submit course syllabi to the Provost Office for approval before the deadline designated for each academic term.
Provide classroom instruction according to the syllabus and in agreement with the highest standards of professional expertise and academic ethics.
Provide necessary office consulting hours for students in jointly agreed upon hours.
Maintain exemplary, professional and business-like conduct with students, staff, faculty, and all other members of the academic community.
Report each teaching day’s attendance to the Registrar’s Office.
Administer exams and record grades. Following course completion, file grades with the Registrar’s Office. Submit final grades promptly.
Keep copies of all coursework and examinations for a period of one year following course completion;
Coordinate annual scholarly and professional development plans with the Academic Department Chair and provide the plans to the Provost Office. Then, at the end of a year, submit documentation supporting the development activities and achievements listed in the annual report.
Participate in mentoring undergraduate students; advising masters and doctoral degree students on internship reports, thesis and/or dissertation development; and, participate as a member of the faculty committee evaluating student internship reports, thesis and dissertation presentations when scheduled throughout the academic year.
